Mental Health= Inner Peace= Emotional and Mental Resilience
What is Mental Health?
Mental Health is your ability to cope with challenges in your life which give you a state of well-being. It involves your thoughts, emotions, and actions, impacting how you handle stress, relate to others, and how and which choices you make.
The Global Mental Health Crisis
WHO predict Mental Health crisis (2022)
In 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) has highlighted a significant and growing mental health crisis exacerbated by various factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
The WHO reported that the pandemic has caused a 25% increase in the global prevalence of anxiety and depression, driven by social isolation, economic strain, and fear of illness.
What are the Roots of the Rising Mental Issues?
I believe firmly that COVID only have put a mirror in front of many of us and let many of us realized how unfulfilled we were! (unfulfilled is different from unhappy).
Fulfillment is on a soul level!!!
COVID was a magnifier of the mental health problems.
Beyond the pandemic…., two deeper core origins why Mental Health will keep increasing:
I. Disconnection with our true selves.
Many people feel empty and unfilled because they are disconnected with their higher
selves.
II. External focus and Overstimulation:
The overwhelming stimuli from social media, screens, billboards and the material pursuits
distract us from our inner peace and self-discovery.
The Vicious Cycle
This is a vicious cycle.
The more we use social media improperly the more disconnected and unhappier, unfulfilled we will feel.
The more disconnection - the more external focus. These people feel they miss “something”- they seek “happiness” outside themselves with material things and/or scrolling on social media which deepens the cycle.
Energy flows where attention goes!
The mainstream media and social media will keep fighting for your attention, your energy!!!
I hate to break it to you….but…
Every time you give your attention away to activities or people that are not contributing to a better you, not helping you evolve, you move from your life purpose, feeling peaceful and fulfilled!!!
Key: set boundaries and create life rules for yourself and most important …stick to them.
The Consequences of Disconnection from Higher Self
1. Lack of Self-love
Many people don’t love themselves, due to unsolved past traumas and limited
believes.
2. Low Self-worthiness
Self-worthiness and self-love go hand in hand. The degree to that you love yourself is
in direct correlation with the degree to that you believe you are worthy to have a good
life.
3. Self- comparison
Constant comparison with others.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
Social media makes this worst. Especially among vulnerable groups like teenagers.
4. Instant Gratification
We live in a fast-paced world: many people want everything now, instantly! A shortcut
for everything. Immediate rewards.
A simple example: some people get angry/annoy if you don’t answer your phone when
they call. (insane)
Saying: “you didn’t pick up the phone”. Instead of thinking and saying: you were
busy.
Studies* show the benefits of delayed gratification are numerous and impactful:
o Heightened Satisfaction and Fulfillment:
Achieving long-term goals makes you feel more fulfilled and accomplished than quickly
enjoying immediate rewards.
o Increase Mental Health
The discipline and foresight involved in delayed gratification can reduce stress and
anxiety, leading to better overall mental health.
o Increased Resilience
Developing the ability to delay gratification builds resilience, helping you cope with
challenges and setbacks more effectively.

o Improved Self-regulation or self-control.
Practicing delayed gratification strengthens self-discipline, helping you make more
thoughtful and less impulsive decisions.
o Improved Financial Stability
By resisting the urge to make impulsive purchases, people can save and invest more
effectively, leading to better financial health.
o Greater Academic and Career Success
The ability to focus on long-term goals can result in higher academic achievements and
more successful career advancements.
o Better Health Outcomes
Delayed gratification can lead to healthier lifestyle choices, such as maintaining a
balanced diet and regular exercise, which contribute to long-term well-being.
o Stronger Relationships
Patience and the ability to wait for the right moment can enhance personal relationships,
fostering deeper connections and mutual respect.
(*Studies: Stanford Marshmallow Experiment, Longitudinal Studies, Behavioral Economics Research and
Neuroscientific Studies)
5. Hungry to be seen, to be acknowledge/Seeking external validation
Due to all the reasons above, many people want a few minutes of fame, to be seen, to
be acknowledge. At the core of this, is againnnn: the disconnection with the soul/spirit.
The only person that can make you fulfilled is yourself (your soul)
6. Bullying
Bullying reflects all above issues: lack of self-love, low self-worthiness, self-comparison,
and seeking external validation.
We have arrived at the core of this message:
How do you Master your Mental Well-being?
How do you Build Resilience?
How do you achieve Mental Focus and Inner peace?
In other words: What are the abilities to cope with stress in life?
In order to Master your Mental Wellbeing you need to develop and apply specific coping skills and strategies. These skills are cultivated based on conscious choices and decisions.
I. Perception of Life:
It starts with a fundamental decision you need to make in order to live a life of not
suffering. And that is choose how you see/perceive life and yourself.
In other words: which perception do you have of life?! Is life a dance? Is life a struggle?
Life is a mirror to each one of us!
You don’t experience life, you experience the thoughts and emotions you focus on.
Life = the mirror that reflects your thoughts and emotions.
Because focus equals feeling!
Is that simple!
II. Emotional Home
Decide what is your default emotional state. Meaning: whatever happens you go to
that emotion.
Example: choose peace, tranquility, and calm over worry and fear.
High vibrational emotions attract positive experiences.
So, I advise you to:
1. Decide how you see life.
2. And choose an emotional home.
III. Key themes to focus for Mental Well-being:
Obviously in order to Master your Mental Well-being you have to develop the skills
and have the right strategies and techniques to master the origins of the Mental health
crisis and more key themes:
o Connect with your soul and the Divine (Life force)
Discover fulfillment and true purpose.
o Dare to be Authentic
I believe firmly that being authentic is the easiest thing to do.
Just be yourself. Avoid wearing a mask. (=persona)
o Cultivate Self -love
With enough self-love, you will end self-comparison
o Self-worthiness
You are worthy! Stop doubting yourself.
o Forgiveness
Learn to forgive yourself and others.
o Social media
Use it wisely and detox regularly.
o Delay Gratification
You are aware of all the benefits above.
Learn the value of patience and long-term satisfaction.
Conlusion
Master your mental wellbeing means you can manage yourself, you can cope with stressful situations that present in your life.
When you master your mental health you are resilient and you have inner peace and mental focus/clarity to conquer every challenge that comes your way!
